The stunning five star boutique hotel Dylan has unveiled its summertime inspired cocktail and canapé menu, and having sampled it for ourselves we can confirm that the hotel’s idyllic surrounds is where we’ll be hanging out all summer long.
One of Dublin’s finest food, drinks and hospitality gems, Dylan is a wonderfully, whimsical retreat in Dublin’s city centre, and the flower adorned terrace is the ideal place to celebrate the long summer days and nights.
The charming Midsummer Dreams Menu was dreamt up by the expert team of chefs and mixologists at the five star establishment and consists of an exquisite selection of cocktails featuring flavours synonymous with summer such as honeysuckle, elderflower, hibiscus and more.
Sip and savour refreshing drinks like the elegant Heavenly Hibiscus, Pimmsical, a fittingly whimsical name for the refreshing and timeless Pimms Cup and Lemonade cocktail, and the Tequila Honeybee, a summertime take on the Honeybee cocktail using the tequila in place of rum.
Flowers come to the fore in the gin based Blooming Chamomile, Pisco Flower and Absinthe Honeysuckle too.
The bespoke canapé menu brings flavour to the fore in the form of delectably, pretty dishes and incorporates ingredients reminiscent of summers gone by, including garden pea, lobster and lavender, to name but a few.
Culinary highlights include Trout tartare with garden pea mousse, Goats cheese with figs on brioche, Crab, lettuce and tomato cold consommé, and, the summer classic, a Lobster roll.
For a sweet treat choose from Strawberry gazpacho, Lime Parfait, Crispy Apple and Passion fruit macarons.
Midsummer Dreams at Dylan is now available at Dylan to be enjoyed all summer, seven days a week.
