As part of our #IndulgeMeInsiders series, we’ve already snooped inside model Kelly Horrigan’s makeup bag, got Sarah Hanrahan of I Come Undone blog to spill the contents of her Little Black Book of Dublin, and swotted up on how to create the perfect flat lay the from expert Joana Leite, a.k.a Style Traces.
Our curiosity is insatiable, however, and the next target of our inquisitiveness is Louise Cooney, the Dublin based, Limerick born fashion, travel, and lifestyle blogger who’s star (and following – 106k and growing) is rising at a hypersonic rate.
If you haven’t already heard the name (or seen those incredibly long legs) it won’t be long before you’re a loyal follower too.
Read on for exactly what’s in Louise’s makeup bag, plus where exactly that makeup bag is from…
MAC Strobe Cream (€34, Brown Thomas) – it totally brightens up my skin, leaving it so glowy and fresh looking. It’s not too expensive either which is always a plus.
Any concealer by NARS – they are amazing! I’ve tried and tested so many and I always come back to these, I love the cream and the liquid ones.
I have 2 new favourites at the moment and they are both incredible! I love the YSL Touche Eclat All in One Glow (€44, Brown Thomas) – it’s super light and dewy but still gives a full coverage.
I also love the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation (€40.95, lookfantastic) – this is a little heavier than the previous foundation, so I’d sway towards this one on a less summery day (we have lots of those) or for a night out.
It’s got a highlighter, bronzer, contour shade, blush, and 3 eye-shadows.
I find myself using this a lot at the moment as it’s just easy to travel with and the pigment is so good from Charlotte Tilbury.
Fenty Beauty do amazing highlighters – my favourite is Hustla Baby.
I also love Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter (£32, Cult Beauty) in Champagne Pop.
The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette (€47.50, Debenhams) is my favourite for summer. I love the burnt oranges and reds.
I actually don’t wear eye liner very often but when I do I use the Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen (€54, Brown Thomas) – it’s got two heads on it.
One is a brush and one is almost like a felt pen – so it’s easy to use on your lid and to do a flick.
I love all of the Benefit Brow products – they are just the best for brows.
Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil (€26.50, Brown Thomas) is a great product if you want to achieve a really natural, fuller brow because you can literally draw on hair strokes with it.
I love the new YSL Volume Effet False Cils mascara (€32.50, Boots) – I had been using the Shock and I switched to this and found it amazing for volume, curl and length.
I have lash extensions on at the moment though so I’m only wearing mascara on my bottom lashes, which is actually a nice break.
The makeup brushes I have in my kit are…

Home sweet home after the best 24 hours in Paris with @armanibeauty ❤️🇫🇷💋 My vlog of the trip (with some behind the scenes shots) just went live! So excited to have this video to look back on… it was the most amazing experience 😍😭 There’s a link in my bio ☝🏼 #SaySiToPassion #armanibeauty #shoot #paris
My signature scent is…
Si by Armani (€92, Boots) – it’s just so gorgeous. I got to go to Paris in January for the launch of Si Passione with Armani and it was incredible.
I was in a shoot for the launch of it and everything, talk about dream come true!
My favourite makeup bag is from…
River Island – I have so many make up bags from them and they always last so well and are cute to look at too.
My top beauty tip is…
Take care of your skin first – lots of SPF, Vitamin A and hydrating moisturisers. The canvas is the most important part.
