Rose Brown is the New Spring Hair Colour Trend You’ll Actually Want to Try

Unicorn, mermaid and pastel hued hair might be all over Instagram, and don’t get us wrong they are pretty to look at, but we’d be reluctant to make the dramatic change ourselves no matter how bang on trend they are.

If you are itching for a change though, there’s a new hair colour trend sweeping social media and it’s a lot more accessible. Introducing rose brown.

A lot more approachable than the pink hair trend, rose brown features an all-over brunette base with subtle touches of blush woven throughout.

Rose Brown

Speaking to Allure, the Australian based hairstylist behind the colour Thi Thao Tu explained that she achieved the look through a combination of bleach, Olaplex treatment, and brown and red dyes. T

She suggests that the look is particularly suitable for those with natural brunettes who are looking to try something different but no go completely colour crazy.

If you want to hit the salon to try this, Tran recommends talking to your stylist beforehand to ensure your hair is in good condition so it can withstand the bleach, and insist on an Olaplex treatment to save your hair from the harsh treatment.

She also recommends you ask for Olaplex 3, a concentrated strengthening agent you can use at home.

So while you won’t see us rocking mermaid ombre locks just yet, rose brown is certainly tempting us to make a bold (ish) change.
