You guys were very excited when we revealed the news that Baileys Almande, the much talked about dairy-free, vegan-friendly innovation that the makers of the iconic Baileys Irish Cream had finally been launched in Ireland.
You might be slightly jealous of those who got to experience the vegan Baileys that promises “all the deliciousness of Baileys without the dairy” at the official launch this week.
Taking place in Coppa Café, in the RHA, guests at the intimate event were spoiled with a range of cocktails with Baileys Almande created by drinks expert and world-class charmer Federico Riezzo.
The new drink is made with a combination of sweet almond oil and almond essence from pure crushed almonds and vanilla.
So which shop exactly can you bag your own dairy-free Baileys? It will available in Ireland exclusively from Dunnes Stores nationwide, priced at €25 for a 700ml bottle.
Colin Donnelly, Baileys Marketing Manager at Diageo said: “We’re excited to introduce a truly indulgent treat for those who either can’t or choose not to have dairy in their diet.
Baileys is the world’s most-loved spirit brand and we’re proud to be able to offer a dairy-free alternative with the same quality and delicious flavour that people love about Baileys.”
For a refreshing treat, try it with premium coconut water and crushed ice, or simply with ice.
