The Couture Club, an online lifestyle brand loved by some of the UK & Ireland’s well-known faces from both TV & Social Media, officially launched their first Irish Store in Dundrum Town Centre, the second for the brand after their home-based brick and mortar in Manchester, UK.
On hand to help the brand celebrate landing on Irish soil was long time friend of the Couture Club, Coronation Streets Brooke Vincent alongside Love Island’s Ellie Jones, Laura Crane & Jack Fowler.
Deemed as the hottest store launch in Dublin this year, guests on the night were immersed into the Couture Club lifestyle with flowing trays of champagne, in house DJ blasting tracks from the shop window and dancers filling the room transforming the store into its very own nightclub.
Founded in 2015 by friends Ross Worswick, formally of Ex On The Beach and Scott Shashua, a practicing solicitor. The duo had a vision to design a style of clothing that they were both passionate about and all of which are created out of their hometown of Manchester.
Their aim was to create a premium quality street style brand, which offered on-trend designs at high street prices – affordable, approachable & aspirational. When you buy from The Couture Club you are not only buying into the product but the culture of the brand.
When speaking about the brand, owners Ross & Scott said, “We decided on the name because every piece is individual and unique: couture. And club: because we want it to be for people that in effect join the club and buy into the style and panache of the clothes we create, and to be part of our future. By joining the club you believe in not just our products but by what we stand for.”
The brand started from a limited budget out of a bedroom with 3 T-Shirts to now producing over 650 products across Mens and Womenswear ranging from Jackets, Swimwear, Tracksuits, Footwear & Accessories.
The secret to their success? The Couture Club put it down to the synergy between Reality TV and fashion as well as having a strong marketing strategy. The brand has direct access to TV personalities and a strong knowledge of their audience demographic, which has played a pivotal part in the growth of the brand in the last 3 years.
Due to their significant growth in the first 2 years of business, Ross & Scott decided to launch a 3-month pop-up store within the Trafford Centre in Manchester over Christmas 2017 and within the first month the contract was extended due to the reaction. Now they have branched out of the UK and are celebrating the launch of their Irish store in Dundrum Town Centre.
When speaking about the brands new Dublin store, co-owner Ross said
“Opening the Dublin store was one of our greatest achievements so far and I can’t tell you how proud I am of the whole team for doing such an amazing job. The store is phenomenal and I’m absolutely over the moon with the feedback we have received.”
The new store will provide a whole new shopping experience for The Couture Club consumers with in-house DJ Sets and monthly visits by some of the U.K’s biggest Reality Stars. It will also house concessions of some of the hottest brands on the market and in-store exclusive collections.
Not planning on slowing down any time soon, Scott & Ross will be opening store number 3 in Newcastle next month.
