The event will showcase the latest trends, styles and must-buys for the season ahead, from leading high street stores, the Creative Quarter and premium retailers across Dublin city centre. The event will also highlight the best of Ireland’s up and coming design talent, by crowning the 2018 Young Designer of the Year. Hosted by Glenda Gilson, the event will welcome 500 of the city’s most stylish personalities.
Many of the city’s flagship stores are taking part on the night, including Brown Thomas, Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Arnotts, Ilac Shopping Centre, Jervis Shopping Centre, Om Diva, Coast and Penneys, as well as a host of boutiques and menswear stores across the city.
Once again, DublinTown Fashion: THE COLLECTIVE, will celebrate the crème de la crème of Irish design talent with the Young Designer of the Year Award. The winner will be announced following a catwalk show of the 10 finalists’ designs on the night, as chosen by the select judging panel which includes Irish Independent’s fashion editor, Bairbre Power; renowned fashion photographer, Barry McCall; TV3 Xposé series producer, Debbie O’Donnell; owner of The Design Centre, Ashling Kilduff; Brown Thomas personal shopping manager, Caroline Hanratty; Arnotts head of personal shopping, Clara Halpin, and Evoke.ie editor, Sybil Mulcahy.
