It’s been a long time coming, but after 21 months of extensive restoration, refurbishment and expansion, Adare Manor has officially reopened its doors – and the wait was worth it.
Recognised as a top luxury destination in both Ireland and around the world, the Limerick manor has been beautifully restored to its former finesse, complete with a whole new wing, that’s sure to enjoyed by many for decades to come.
Following its temporary closure in early 2016, the 5 Star Adare Manor will now employ over 350 people to cater to its many guests. Speaking about its reopening, CEO of Adare Manor Colm Hannon, said: “This marks a new beginning for Adare Manor’s esteemed legacy.
“A labour of love from the very start, Adare Manor was created by its original owners to delight, astonish, and impress – and we continue to hold ourselves accountable to that vision today, which is vividly alive in this new guest experience, and even further reflected by our world-class team, whose personalised service is what makes Adare Manor feel like home.”
The new wing boasts 42 brand new bedrooms, bringing its total number of luxurious suites to 104 bedrooms. In addition to this, a lavish ballroom has been designed that is perfect for all events from weddings and events to Irish or international conferences – its impressive capacity of 350 guests will bring the resort’s status even higher.
The original Manor House has also been fully refurbished within to include a new La Mer spa, pool and relaxation area. The exclusive spa is the first in Ireland, and the UK, and is one of only eleven La Mer spas worldwide.
The Manor House will also feature a board room and even a cinema – fun for all the guests and delegates during their stay.
There is still time to wait until Adare Manor’s famous golf course reopens, however, as it’s only set to open to the public again in March 2018, its remodelling led by world-renowned golf course architect, Tom Fazio.
Adding to all the new restorations, the menus will offer quite the spectacular dining experience. Famed for serving outstanding gourmet cuisine, the kitchen boasts over 60 individuals in their pristine chef whites to create world-class dishes, led by Director of Culinary, Loughlin Druhan.
Alongside his award-winning culinary team, expect bespoke, fine dining served in the Oak Room with a selection of fine wines, as well as light bites and cocktail in the Drawing Room that overlook the panoramic views of the formal gardens.
