You may want to start stock piling tissues, things are about to get emotional. Adele is reportedly set to start work on her next studio album.
The last time the mega star released a studio album was ’25’ in 2015. She followed this with a world tour, but it was widely reported that she would be taking a break to focus on growing family.
In 2016, however, she left XL Recordings and reportedly signed a £90 million contract with Sony in 2016.
Now The Sun is reporting that sources close to the singer believe she is about to start work on the follow-up to her record-breaking ’25’ album.
The source said: “She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.”
If all goes to plan then Adele could drop the new album in 2019, and it’s reportedly due to drop at Christmas time.
A Christmas album from Adele. This is all a bit too much for the Adele fans in the office.
