This weekend the pink carpet was rolled out to welcome a host of well-known faces for Breast Cancer Ireland‘s Battle of the Stars proudly supported by Joe Duffy Group.
The charitable event was hosted by 2FM star, Eoghan McDermott in the Clayton Hotel (formerly the Hilton Double Tree), on Burlington Road to support Breast Cancer Ireland’s ongoing research and awareness efforts.
The stars that took to the stage on the evening were RTE’s Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh, TV3 Ireland AM’s Ciara Doherty, presenter Kamal Ibrahim, Holly Carpenter, BBC host and author Diana Bunici, FM104 Strawberry Alarm Clock’s Thomas Crosse, model Kerri Nicole Blanc and fashion presenter and bloggers Rob Kenny and James Patrice.
The Battle of the Stars event also featured survivors of breast cancer, including Spin’s Entertainment Editor Georgie Crawford, who is currently in treatment.
Celebrities also took part in both strictly styled dances and lip sync challenges.
Dancing with the Stars judge Julian Benson led the judging panel which included BCI Ambassador and TV3 presenter Elaine Crowley, solicitor Gerald Kean and presenter Lisa Cannon.
The event also included supporters of Breast Cancer Ireland as well as staff from event sponsors, Joe Duffy Group and associate sponsors Cornmarket Financial.
