Friends‘ character Monica might still make regular appearances on your living room via a TV screen, but there was a chance you spotted actor Courteney Cox in the flesh on Thursday night as she jetted into Dublin to support her fiancé Johnny McDaid.
Derry born Johnny, 41, who is a member of Snow Patrol, was one of two International Hit Songwritersto receive an IMRO Outstanding Achievement Award, presented at the Radio Days Ireland conference in the Gibson Hotel, last night.
Ruth-Anne Cunningham was also given the award for her contributions to the international songwriting industry.
These awards recognise the enormous contribution that both songwriters have made on the global stage.
The recent trip to Dublin comes straight off the back off a touchdown in London earlier in the week where Courteney, 53, accompanied Johnny to the Brit Awards.
It seems they don’t have plans to reclocate to Ireland or London anytime soon, but the couple reportedly split their time between LA and Europe to make things work after they reunited in 2016 after a brief four month split.
“A permanent move is off the table. But Courteney is willing to spend more time in Ireland to make the relationship work. At this point she’ll bend over backward to make Johnny happy,” a source told OK! magazine.
