Davina McCall Reveals How She Gets *Those* Abs

Davina McCall is a woman we really admire. She has had her own troubles in the past and overcome them to build an incredible career. Even now, as she settles her divorce, there is no stopping this powerhouse.

Aged 50 she is currently training to be a professional personal trainer, and her body is something that we also are regularly in awe of.

At 5ft 7in, she clocks in at 10st and a dress size 10 and looks phenomenal. But how does she get into such incredible shape?

Speaking to CelebsNow, Davina revealed her top fitness secrets and says if you are struggling to get motivated always remember that you will never regret a workout.

“You never regret a workout! Fitness makes you feel good, which is the most important thing. But also having big targets and upcoming exercise events keep me motivated.”

It turns out her favourite body part is the one we can’t take our eyes off whenever we spot a shot of her in a bikini or when she posts a gym selfie: her abs.

“My tummy is my favourite (body part), as it’s always required the least amount of work.”

 
Sigh, so it’s easy for her to get ripped then, but she did share her secret ab trick that is something you can start doing right now.

“The best tip I can give is just to engage your abs whenever and wherever you can, even tensing can constantly keep them working.”

Are you tensing yet? And while abs might come easy for Davina she says other parts she has to work on…

“I have to work hardest on my ankles… Elle Macpherson doesn’t realise how lucky she is to have ankles like that! I’m constantly having to work on mine.

 
She might be on a health buzz, and that includes diet obviously, but says you couldn’t pay her to eat the likes of liver, kidney, bone marrow – no matter how many health benefits they are said to boast.

Davina’s not a fan of counting calories herself, but says “if you do want to lose weight it’s a simple, accurate way to do it – just make sure you’re burning more calories than you’re consuming!

She also revealed that she does not ‘agree with’ or take any health supplements:

 
“I don’t totally agree with them, if I’m honest, just because I feel I should be getting everything I need from my diet. But if you have a deficiency I can understand it more.”

Davina spilled her secrets in line with the promotion for her new F&F fitness line, which will available in Tesco stores soon.
