Dublin Pride 2018: 5 Fun and Fabulous Events You Shouldn’t Miss

Break out your rainbow rompers and glitter eyeshadow (okay, body paint) – Dublin Pride Week is here!

Taking place from June 21st to 30th the parade on the last day of the festival will be main attraction but there are plenty of events happening all over the city throughout the week to support and celebrate the LGBTQ community.

From day time walking tours to all-night glitter-tastic parties, read on for 5 fun and fabulous Dublin Pride 2018 events.

1. Dublin Pride Queer Walking Tour

Kick Dublin Pride off with his informative and entertaining walking tour. Such a hit it been over the years that this year there will be two walking groups.

How much?

Free but ticketed so visit eventbrite.ie for more details.


Sunday June 24th, 3.30pm or 4pm.

2. Pride Geili, Pantibar, Capel Street

Get ready to resurrect the skills you thought you’d forgotten from your summers in the Gaeltacht at this unique take on the traditional Irish dance event.

Thursday June 28th at 9pm.

3. Glitterbomb, The George

Think DJ after DJ and gorgeous glittery dancers. What more can we say?

How much?

Free in before 10.30pm, €5 until midnight and €8 afterwards.


Friday June 29th at 10.30pm.

4. Pantibar All Day Street Party Capel Street

This legendary event has become an integral part of Dublin Pride. We’ll see you there.

How much?

Free before 5pm, €10 after.


From 2pm on Saturday June 30

5. The Official Pride After Party with Samantha Mumba, Opium Lounge

Baby Come On Over to Opium and get ready to get Body 2 Body as Samantha Mumba will be performing at the official Pride after party.

You can also expect a rooftop BBQ, exclusive Pride cocktail menu and confetti cannons showering the dance floor in colour.

Tickets cost €15 and are available on eventbrite.

The 2018 festival takes place from June 21st to 30th, with Pride pre Parade festival from 12noon and the Parade taking place at 2pm on Saturday, June 30th, 2018.
