The Eatyard Wine & Cheese Festival returns for a Wintery Takeover at Jam Park

Wine & Cheese fans rejoice – we’ve got just what you want for your Christmas parties and get-togethers. The Eatyard Wine & Cheese Festival will take over Jam Park, Dublin’s newest and fun event space, during November and December.

After the huge success of our summer Wine & Cheese Festival where we welcomed 15k people through the gates of the Iveagh Gardens to sip wines from Green Man, L’Atitude 51, Wine Lab and munch on award-winning cheese from Sheridans, Corleggy and Coolattin we’ve decided a wintery version is just what we need to get us by until next summer.

At Jam Park, a multi-level adults playground and event space in Swords, we will be doing weekend Wine & Cheese sessions with tickets priced at €15 (plus booking fee) and group booking deals available (table of 8 for €100 plus booking fee), as we said this is the perfect Christmas party set up.

Book in for a lunch or evening ticket and it gets you entry, wine on arrival, some festive cheesy treats and of course Bodytonic entertainment. We’ll have live music. caroling and the hilarious ‘How Merlot Can You Go?’ Limbo will be back, we’re even toying with calling it Crimbo Limbo maybe? We’ll have some of our favourite wine and cheese names running pop-up bars and shops over the various weekends as well as the Brewtonic Winter Warmer bar for the mulled drinks.

The hugely successful Eatyard Cheese shop will return this time taking over some of the Jam Park kitchen to bring you all the cheese goodness – cheese boards, fondue, mac and cheese, cheeseburgers and plenty more.

We’ve joined forces with the brilliant Rory Craig from Station to Station Wine who ran some of the most fun wine tastings at our summer event, to offer masterclass add-ons for your gang. Classes range from €15pp for Mistletoe & Wine – taste your way to the best Christmas ever, Happy Fizzmas is €20pp where Rory bursts the bubble on myths and marketing around Champagne (not as specialised as it sounds) and there’s even a VIP Masterclass for €30pp for the full-on wine fans. These will need to be booked in advance with your ticket booking or private sessions can be organised.

The great advantage of being is Jam Park is, of course, it’s indoors and there are add-ons galore available including Christmas Karaoke, game packages for their retro arcade and even Crazy Golf. Most nights the bar and venue will stay open until around 1 am, so no need for the party to finish early. We’ll be announcing wine, cheese and entertainment over the coming weeks.
