The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate and William, joined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their first joint engagement together yesterday, talk about squad goals.
The couples, who have been dubbed as the new ‘fab four’. took part in the first annual Royal Foundation Forum in central London where they will set out their future plans.
William, Kate, Harry and Meghan appeared on stage together to discuss why The Royal Foundation was set up, the projects they are currently working on, and their ambitions for the years ahead.
“You’ll often hear people say, ‘we are helping women find their voices,’ and I fundamentally disagree with that, because women don’t need to find a voice, they have a voice and they need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be encouraged to listen,” Meghan said at the event.
Meghan will officially become the fourth patron of The Royal Foundation following her her nuptials to Harry on May 19th.
“I guess we wait a couple of months and then we can hit the ground running, but up until then I’m pretty excited,” Meghan said.
There’s just the small matter of a “Wedding to plan first,” added husband-to-be Harry.
The theme for the first annual Royal Foundation Forum is Making A Difference Together and will showcase programmes run or initiated by the Royal Foundation, a total of 14, such as Heads Together, the Invictus Games, and United For Wildlife.
