Celebrities have the power to make products sell-out in minutes. They casually throw on a sweater on the way to the shops, and once they’ve been papped their fans are sent into a frenzy tracking down the item in stores and online – and it’s all the better when it’s from a high street store.
And so, it’s a fashion brand’s dream to for a well-known face to flaunt something from their collections, and latest one to get the celeb seal-of-approval is H&M, whose red puffa jacket was seen on model Gigi Hadid last week.
Known for her stylish off-duty getups, Gigi sported the sporty, scarlet number leaving her apartment in New York City.
The best bit? It’s only €49.99. A practical jacket that just edged into the realm of high fashion for less than €50, that’s the kind of sentence we take joy in writing.
The model paired the coat with a ribbed zip-up sweater, track pants and cat-eye frames – perhaps a look only an (ex) Victoria’s Secret model can pull off.
However she certainly has drawn our attention to a jacket that we might otherwise have not have paused to look at in the aisles.
To shop her puffa jacket, before it inevitably sells out, visit H&M stores nationwide, we spotted a few still available at their College Green flagship store this weekend, or visit their site by clicking here.
