Fashion and lifestyle blogger Holly White will be launching her new cookbook Vegan-ish: A Gentle Introduction to a Plant-Based Diet on 30th August at 6 p.m. in The Kitchen, Arnotts Department Store. The event, hosted by Pamela Flood, will see guests served delicious recipes and treats from Holly’s new book.
Dubbed one of the ‘hottest food trends of 2018’, there is no arguing that Veganism in Ireland is on the rise. Holly White, who is vegan and a certified plant-based nutritionist, is completely non-judgmental when it comes to people’s food choices, but is adamant that she will never compromise on one thing when it comes to food, and that is taste.
Holly’s beautiful new cookbook, Vegan-ish: A gentle introduction to a plant- based diet, is brimming with over 100 mouth-watering recipes from delicious dinners like Vegan Meatballs with Tomato Sauce to desserts like Holly’s pecan brownies with cashew icing that’ll have your guests asking for second helpings. Vegan-ish is accessible and comprehensive, providing practical advice on when and how to change your diet, how to identify vegan-friendly food labels, and how to food swap without missing out on nutrients.
Whether you have ever thought about going vegan, but felt intimidated by the idea of a restricted diet, or you would like to enjoy the health benefits of a plant-based diet, or simply eat more greens, then Vegan-ish is the book for you.
Tickets are priced at €23 which includes the new book and are available from Eventbrite.
