Ever browse magazines and are envious of all those beautifully styled kitchens?
It’s more than just counter tops and the colour of the kitchen that matters to get the finished look.
Here are 5 styling tips to get that Pinterest-worthy kitchen.
1. Cookbook Art
If you have an empty wall to avail of, hang shelves and display your cookbooks for a gallery wall that’s functional too.
Open some of the books to the most picturesque recipes or display your favourite front covers by colour.
2. Green Shelves
A lovely way of bringing your shelves to life is by adding planting.
Use pots and plants of varied styles; succulents, ferns, and draping ivy.
It’s also a nice way of storing herbs, should you be so green fingered!
3. Spicy Design
Put the colours of your spices and pulses to good use by displaying them in mason jars.
By using uniformed storage containers, you can create more of a clutter-free yet colourful cooking environment!
4. Board Up
To add texture to simpler kitchen pallets, hang or lean wooden/marble serving boards on a wall.
They’ll be there to grab when you need them but equally create a warm and rustic backdrop to your prep area.
5. Show It Off
Whilst we appreciate a seamless kitchen, displaying your most beautiful crockery and serveware can add character to a space.
If you don’t have open shelves, consider a dresser or display cabinet for a decorative touch.
