With over 15,000 beauty professionals in Ireland, from salon owners to salon employees to freelance talent, Salonetwork, which is a first for Ireland, aims to support the hair and beauty industry through its unique, dedicated, online platform.
The free-to-use, social networking hub can be accessed on desktop and mobile and is targeted at the entire industry from make-up artists, hair stylists and nail technicians to aestheticians, wellness experts and therapists. By providing a dedicated hub for beauty professionals across the country to connect, converse and collaborate, Salonetwork aims to bring about a lasting sense of community within the industry, at a time when it is needed most following recent VAT hikes, talent shortages in specific areas and unlicensed operators in a handful of fields such as aesthetics.
Users can sign up for free and post on the Salonetwork feed as they would on any other social media platform. By centralising industry-related content, the platform makes it easy to share or search for available jobs, increase bookings to specific educational courses and post or find upcoming events.
Salonetwork was created by Leslie Healy and Charlotte Bradshaw to allow industry professionals to connect in a meaningful way, but also to support businesses and individuals, large or small, by providing a thoughtful set of tools and resources through the platform.
Salonetwork is now inviting hair, beauty, wellbeing professionals, industry leaders and suppliers to sign up by visiting salonetwork.com. For more information visit salonetwork.com or @salonetwork on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
