Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been on our radar ever since the late eighties thanks to US hit sitcom Full House, but these days it’s because of their chic fashion style and of course their designer labels The Row and Elizabeth And James. The twins have been in the spotlight for many decades, and now you can get an insiders glimpse at the twins’ former New York penthouse apartment.
Having purchased this West Village space back in 2009 at only $7.2 million, the sisters ended up selling it one year later at a similar price of $7.7 million. Today though, real estate agents Douglas Elliman have added it to their listing as it’s back on the market but this time round it’s selling at a very cool $25 million.
So if you won the lotto what would you gain from such a purchase? Well the 5,725-square foot apartment houses impressive floor-to-ceiling windows, only five bedrooms but a drool-worthy walk in wardrobe.
And then there’s one of the four bathrooms, that is a wall-to-wall white marble haven complete with a clawfoot bathtub as well as a wood-burning fireplace that’s ideal for cold winters in The Big Apple, alongside a 1,000 wine bottle fridge that’s sure to impress all and any guests you may invite over.
Take a look in the gallery above for all the stunning scenes of the apartment, from its panoramic views of the city to the details of the designers’ former living room.
