Conceived and made for – and with the help of – professionals this week the Mac Pro range finally landed at Brown Thomas Dublin.

The range is at the heart of M·A·C Cosmetics and has long been deployed on a variety of public stages from runways (and backstage), film and television sets, VIP red carpet events, and theatre.

Although originally dedicated to makeup artists and the Makeup Artist community the long-wearing, hard-working, and endlessly playable collection, can bring out the inner pro in everyone.

Now, for the first time, these stalwarts of the pro kit are available in-store in Ireland giving easy access for the Irish M·A·C Pro team as well as other professionals and dedicated beauty followers.

“As a makeup artist and a lifelong M·A·C user, it is so exciting to be finally able to promote the M·A·C brand to its full potential and capacity with the launch of our Pro range in Ireland,” says Lesley Keane, M·A·C Global Senior Artist, Dublin.

“I have used M·A·C Pro all my makeup life and while we have a fabulous basic line in M·A·C there are no limits to the colour, texture, and quality that the Pro range can take you to.”

Whether its pots of pigment, mixing mediums, foundation and acrylic paints for both face and body, fully customisable pro palettes, or a variety of exclusive pro performance shades, these are the go-to must-haves for our team to stay at the top of their game.

“M·A·C Pro is a line of cutting edge colours, textures and finishes which although initially designed for on-set make up artists has also become legendary amongst consumers and beauty addicts alike for its ability to go further with the art of makeup than is possible with commercial products.’” explains Terry Barber, Global Director of Makeup Artistry.

At the launch party makeup line wasn’t the only talking point however, Terry Barber, Global Director of Makeup Artistry and Lesley Keane, M·A·C Global Senior Artist, Dublin, were in attendance to officially welcome the range to Ireland.

Also in attendance was Vogue Williams, who was on the decks, long time MAC fans and drag divas Davina Devine and Victoria Secret, as well as a host of other makeup artists and media – oh and there was a half naked male model painted using the Mac Pro range, just your average MAC party really.
