Knock knock open wide, see what’s on the other side! The Black Door Piano Bar at No. 58 Harcourt Street in Dublin has celebrated its 5th birthday, with some well-known faces stepping out to mark the occasion.

Guests on the night included Avila Lipsett, Deric Hartigan, Sonja Mohlich and former Dublin GAA star Eamon Fennell.

Musicians Andrew Mann and Greg French set the scene with a live music performance, while guests sipped on custom cocktails and enjoyed a feast from the venue’s wide-ranging menu of signature gourmet bites.

The menu included Moroccan lamb meatballs with warm crumbed goat’s cheese and beetroot gel, mint-infused crab and hake fish cakes, classic smoked salmon with pickled cucumber and Guinness bread, along with house smoked pork belly popcorn and sticky onion marmalade.

Since opening its doors in 2013, The Black Door has become one of Dublin’s most sophisticated hangouts, with a number of famous faces frequenting the stylish venue, including International footballer Robbie Keane and his wife Claudine, Leinster and Ireland rugby players, Rob and Dave Kearney, and models Vogue Williams and Rosanna Davison.
