Last night the Iveagh Garden Hotel, Harcourt Street in Dublin, was transformed into the ultimate magical Christmas experience by Tesco Ireland, at its 2019 Christmas offering showcase. Outside the venue, guests were greeted by the festive sounds of a barbershop quartet, 4 in a Bar, on arrival before entering as a Tesco finest* prosecco reception as they immersed in the sights, sounds and scents of the festive season. The plush green, red and gold décor and soft, warm lighting created the perfect backdrop for the occasion, marrying an intimate, cosy feeling of the season with the opulence of Christmas, making it a true feast for the senses.

Guests mingled as they explored the full Tesco finest* range, showcased across a number of interactive stations, including the perfect cheese and wine pairings, Christmas classics such as finest Irish bronzed turkey and ham and sumptuous cocktails mixed for each guest as part of a live demonstration.

The event included a feast of visual intrigue including a showstopping Tesco finest* cheese installation created by Praise The Board, along with a Tesco finest* dessert tree where guests could select their sweet treat of choice from tiers stacked to mirror the shape of a Christmas tree, which included a toy train that circulated each tier.  The Christmas tree remained the symbol of the night as guests were offered a glass of Tesco finest*prosecco, picked from a Christmas tree shaped wall installation, from which glasses of prosecco were delicately hung. For those ready to snap and share images of the night, the Christmas bauble wall offered the perfect backdrop for the ultimate seasonal selfie.

Tesco finest* ambassador and celebrity chef, Mark Moriarty, was on hand to mingle with guests as they sampled specially curated Christmas canapés and light bites. For those looking to add a to their Christmas culinary skills, Mark hosted a live interactive question and answer session with guests tweeting their queries on festive dining at a live social media wall which displayed content shared across both Twitter and Instagram of the night.
