Galway’s most glamourous ladies gathered at The Galmont Hotel & Spa to showcase their style credentials as part of the hotel’s search for the racing festival’s most fashionable Galmont Girl Squad. TV Presenter, fashion stylist and Galway girl Ciara O’Doherty, alongside fashionable judges milliner Caithriona King and Two Phat Cows announced Donna Ollerenshaw, Melissa Carty, Mary Carty and Gemma McDonagh from Galway as overall winners.
To celebrate their success, each of the fashionable friends received a two-night stay at the Galmont Hotel’s sister properties, the five-star Powerscourt Hotel and Spa with dinner in the award-winning SIKA Restaurant for each of the squad plus a champagne lunch at The Galmont on Ladies Day and 4 Tickets to Galway Races.
Champagne flowed as guests toasted to a winning experience at The 4* Galmont hotel & Spa. Style, glamour, fun and fashion were in plentiful supply as festival goers enjoyed the hotel’s race week activity. All were offered the chance to walk the red-carpet and showcase their fashionable flair, as budding fashionistas posed for the ultimate selfie in front of a bespoke ‘flower wall’ back-drop.
Guests of The Galmont also enjoyed complimentary live entertainment, which included favourite 80’s classics, laid-back sounds, dancefloor fillers and everything in between. Tipped as the place to be throughout race week, The Galmont Hotel & Spa hosted nightly live music in Coopers Bar & Lounge live. Free entry was offered to all to ensure that everyone had a winning night.
