At the recent World Vision Women mean Business event at the Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsridge, Dublin, Lorraine Keane spoke passionately about her recent trip to Tanzania where she visited Women’s projects with aid organisation World Vision.

At the fund raising event, held in one of Dublin’s finest five stat hotels, Lorraine was joined by Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham, who was just off the film set to lend his time to sharing his experiences with refugees in Uganda and Jordan.

World vision ambassador Roz Purcell lent her support and chatted to the guests about her visits to the projects over the past few years.

Singer Sean Boland set the tone with some vintage seasonal tunes, followed by Peter Kenny from Knight Frank who conducted the auction, raising vital funds for the projects.

World Vision Ireland is one of the leading development and humanitarian relief organisations, dedicated to addressing the causes of global poverty.
