On Monday July 2nd, Brown Thomas hosted an exclusive preview of CREATE, a showcase of the most exciting names in Irish fashion.

Over 120 guests including participating designer Richard Quinn, who won the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design and whose creation he designed for Amal Clooney is on display in the window for the duration of the event, press and industry experts attended the event at the bespoke space on Level 1 of the Dublin store and were welcomed by Fashion Director Shelly Corkery who spearheads the initiative.

Guests enjoyed DJ Louisa Jane’s fitting mix of contemporary Irish electronic music and sipped on prosecco, craft beers and a delicious mix of canapés.
Now in its eighth year, CREATE nurtures rising talent and serves as the best platform to help designers establish their brand. This year’s installation presents the work of 25 designers across ready-to-wear, millinery, jewellery, handbags, scarves, accessories and interiors.
