IKEA, Lidl and Le Creuset, they all have something in common, that is that nobody is quite sure what the correct pronunciation is.

The newest addition to this tongue twister lineup is Danish lifestyle and homeware emporium, Søstrene Grene. But you don’t need to know how to say it to understand the wonders of the Sisters Green.

This week, Anna and Clara launch their newest collection, ‘Childhood dreams’, an entirely new category specially for smallies. Beautiful hand-drawn illustrations of cute little animals and bright, warm colours are hallmarks of the range.

With children’s décor becoming more stylish by the second, Søstrene Grene is all about inspiring big dreams for little people, in designs that don’t revolve around Disney.

The new collection features a plethora of cushions, some even in the shape of bears, zebras and polar bears, made from 100% cotton and 100% as huggable as an actual teddy bear.

They also have some handy little storage boxes, complete with wheels, perfect for tidying up their copious amounts of toys and books. For smaller items, you should be sorted with one of the twelve different size boxes available in four different designs.

Walls haven’t been forgotten either and my favourite has to be the sweet wall stickers that double up as growth charts. Choices include an adventurous, balloonist lion or a moon-gazing rabbit complete with fishing rod. They’ve also added a lovely set of metal animal-shaped shelves in either a snail, rabbit of whale shape, perfect for displaying their little treasures.

For playtime, they have the must-have in trendy children’s homeware; the tepee. Hours of fun await in the ultimate kid sanctuary!

Then when it’s time for bed, a pastel pink or mint green bedstead canopy creates the cosiest of surroundings that should make your little ones want to go sleep long before bedtime. And just in case the little munchkins wake, let them be entertained and comforted by either a snoozing bunny rabbit or a bowtie-wearing polar bear night light.

Check out one of their six locations in either Dublin (Swords, Dún Laoghaoire, Blanchardstown), Cork, Limerick or Athlone.
