If you’re planning to take the plunge this in the coming months on a summer vacay then you’ll need to start planning your bikini bag and swimwear strategy, STAT.

Before you suggest it’s a bit earlier, let us tell you it’s never too early, and we’ve been stung way too many summers in the past when we leave our swimwear shop to the week before departure and are left with only the dregs of the season’s swimwear drop.

So we’ve been investigating the swimwear scene and leading Irish department store Arnotts is coming up trumps, with styles for every shape and preference.

Many of the Swimwear pieces at Arnotts for 2018 has a definite Cuban vibe with a nod to mixed prints and patterns from novelty fruits to palm leaves.

The high-waisted two piece trend is going know where in SS18 and Arnotts is delivering with numbers from Maison Lejaby and Seafolly in floral prints and strong block colours.

The 90s inspired swimsuits you’ve been seeing all over Instagram (check out Kim K’s latest vacation snaps) are brought to us by Tommy Hilfiger.

The bikinis are embossed with the traditional Tommy Hilfiger logo together with the navy, red and white colour palette of which the brand has become synonymous with.

The one piece swimsuit made a comeback last year and this flattering piece is evident across collections from Calvin Klein, Fantasie, Seafolly and Panache.

While the concept remains, Ted Baker have channelled the trend in their own way with a number of plunging necklines and one shoulder swimsuits forming part of their SS18 collection.

For that feminine touch, both Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger embraced girly ruffles in soft pastel shades.
