Just as she shares lots of tips and advice with her clients on how to find their dream dress, Zita is filling us in on the top seven spring 2018 wedding dress trends.
“Is there anything more majestic than a cape? Designers are urging you to embrace your inner goddess, skip the veil and glide down the aisle cascading your glorious, billowing cape in your wake. This truly is the chicest bridal trend of Spring 2018.”
“Off-the-shoulder wedding dresses is THE trend of 2018. This look has serious staying power so expect it to evolve over the coming seasons.
Usually detachable, they add a little soft romance to the timeless, strapless gown while allowing you to subtly change up your bridal look from ceremony to party time.”
MODERN & MINIMALIST
“I’m still finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that my beloved 90’s minimalism is back in vogue, because it’s now retro.
Nonetheless these modern, clean looks are worthy of Kate Moss back in the day and prove that sometimes, simplicity is best.”
TAKE THE PLUNGE
Go on, designers are daring you. Although not technically new for 2018, this striking neckline is evolving and every designer has their own take on it.
From deep plunging to subtle sheer panels your décolletage is your focal point.
On this occasion it is best to be blessed with a smaller bosom, lest glamorous turn to glamour.
The ball gown has made a comeback over the last two seasons and in 2018 it’s all about tiers, textures and tulle.
Fabulous, floating dresses with embellished bodices and belts. It’s a princess’ dream.
Each season there is a different take on the most bridal of fabrics and this season designers have gone floral for lace.
Large floral patterns to flower motifs, beaded, embroidered and layered to create a fresh cut romance.
SHADES OF PINKS & NUDES
The blush wedding dress trend is getting an update with designers leaning towards undertones of nudes and soft pinks.
A step away from your traditional ivory, these tones can be more suited to our bluish Irish skin and are absolutely perfection for red haired brides.
Lace pops with lining in shades of latte and nude, and ball gowns blush with soft pink hues.
