Here’s What Jennifer Aniston Eats In A Day And It Includes Pasta

Jennifer Aniston can do little wrong in our eyes. We’ve loved her since her Friends days and gladly rewatch any of the romantic comedies she stars in – tbf she is the queen of that movie genre.

Of course, besides her professional accomplishments she is absolute skin, hair and body goals.

A glowing golden Goddess who if anything appears to be getting better with age.

So we listen intently when she graces us mere mortals with advice, especially if it’s food or fitness related.

Speaking to Elle she spilled what she eats on a typical day, and what she eats on a day when she’s feeling a touch more indulgent.

Jennifer starts her day with warm lemon water, known to be a miracle worker for digestion, and then has a healthy shake or avocado and eggs topped with a little coconut oil.

“Sometimes I’ll have a puffed millet cereal with a banana,” she said, “or I’ll do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end.”

Her ex-husband Justin Theroux is to thank for that trick for an extra boost of protein, apparently.

“Justin [Theroux], my husband, taught me that little move to get extra protein! Right before [the oatmeal] is finished cooking, you just whip in an egg white and it kind of gives it this fluffy texture that’s delicious,” Jennifer explains.

Sounds gross, but we’ll try it if it will make us look like Jen.

For lunch, it’s “some form of vegetables or salad with protein—pretty basic.”

Dinner is usually the same deal.

Jen is a fan of snacks during the day too, and is fond of an apple with almond butter or nuts throughout the day to ward off hunger.

Of course it’s not always as balanced and healthful.

On days she feels like indulging she used to to like to “go all out” on Mexican food, but things have changed.

These days Jennifer says she would rather dig into “a really good pasta,” instead.

“Pasta has taken over as my new favorite go-to-town food,” Aniston says.

Her former husband Theroux is again to blame for this new found appreciation of the Italian favourite.

“Yes, he has brought the pasta back into my life,” she says. “I don’t know whether I should thank him or hate him for that.”

Though she settles on being appreciative for the reintroduction, and says that his pasta carbonara is “irresistible.”

“I’ve learned how to make it,” she continues, “and it’s not that bad for you! It’s just an egg, parmesan cheese, and a little pasta water. And we substitute turkey bacon for real bacon, so, you know.”

If Jennifer Aniston can indulge in a little pasta every now and again we are taking this as
